Founded in the mid 1990s…

Founder Dr. Phani Bangalore (PhD, crop sciences, RST) built Turf Tech, Inc. to provide the best-in-the-business care and quality seed testing services to farmers and companies around the world. His wife, Geetha Bangalore, pursued her RST and earned her certification on her first attempt. Together, they have 50+ years of experience in the seed testing world.

Beyond their individual accomplishments, Turf Tech, Inc. is also one of the just few USDA-accredited seed testing labs in the country and has served thousands across the world.

In 2023, turf tech expanded…

We now go beyond grass seed and offer hazelnut testing as well. We currently have an exclusive contract with the Hazelnut Growers of Oregon.
